Coaching and mentoring is a hot topic on today’s business agenda, why?
It is often helpful to have an outside perspective…a “sounding board”.
Coaching and mentoring is a very effective way of expanding an individual’s perspective, allowing them to understand more about themselves, their impact on others and overcoming business challenges.
It is a proven, cost effective way in which to develop not only your people, but your business, whether coaching your senior team or your people on the frontline.
However, for your company to really get the most from it, it needs to start from the top. When used inconjunction with the McQuaig psychometric system, it becomes a very powerful combination.
Our programme is there to ensure that there is alignment from the top the of organisation, right the way through to the front line. It is targeted at Managing Directors, Sales Directors and Senior Sales Managers, but can also be used for high potentials.
Our time together would look similar to this:
We start with a quick update from you. I will want to know what you have been up to, what's challenging you and what is stopping you growing the business.
Next, accountability by reviewing the action items from our last session.
We'll then dive into a challenge or a set of opportunities you are facing currently.
We then conclude the session by discussing what your next actions should be. My job is to make sure you are not too easy on yourself while at the same time, working yourself into an early grave.
For coaching as part of the sales training programme, time is spent on ensuring the programme becomes embedded with the sales leaders in the business.
Each session is approximately 1 hour.
